Akshay Kumar, whose real name is Rajiv Hariom Bhatia is a famous film actor, producer as well as a master of martial arts. People also call him 'Akki' because of his love. Akshay Kumar has acted in more than 125 films. He has been nominated for several Filmfare Awards for his films, including two. He has been working in the Hindi film world for a long time and is also known for his orderly nature and routine. Khiladi is known as Khiladi, Akshay himself does most of the stunts.

Akshay Kumar was born in Amritsar, Punjab. His father Hariom Bhatia was a military officer. His mother's name is Aruna Bhatia. Akshay also has a sister named Alka Bhatia.

He attended Don Bosco School and further studied at Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Mumbai.
Akshay earned a black belt in taekwondo in India after studying march art in Bangkok, Thailand. After returning from there, Akshay did his photoshoot and then he got a contract for 'Didar'.
